Paleolosi Mulls another $300 Billion Stimulus
By hawk7 Wed Oct 15, 2008 05:04 PM
WASHINGTON -- Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill are drawing up plans to toughen oversight of the financial industry and considering introducing another economic-stimulus package in the wake of the government's decision to buy stakes in major U.S. banks.
Nancy Pelosi
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is mulling recommendations from several economists that Congress act on an economic-recovery package that would cost taxpayers $300 billion, according to congressional aides, equivalent to about 2% of the country's gross domestic product.

Reporter's Notebook: Seeing How The Other Half Lives OR is obongo stinkie!
By Aunt_Sam Wed Oct 15, 2008 03:20 PM
After most of the previous 12 months covering Barack Obama's campaign for the presidency, it was interesting, instructive and, well, relaxing to follow John McCain for the last few days. The differences between the two are striking.
The McCain campaign plane is better than Obama's, which is cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated. What ever could that stench be? The rotten corrupt politicians with whom obongo associates? Or something else? One wonders!

Murtha: Western Pa. 'racist' but Obama should win
By MadRusski Wed Oct 15, 2008 03:03 PM
LOl. The asshole talks about his constituency!
PITTSBURGH (AP) — U.S. Rep. John Murtha says his home base of western Pennsylvania is racist and that could reduce Barack Obama's victory margin in the state by 4 percentage points.
The 17-term Democratic congressman tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in a story posted Wednesday on its Web site that, as he put it: "There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area."
He says it's taken time for many Pennsylvania voters to come around to liking Obama, but he should still win the state, though not in a runaway.
In a separate interview posted Wednesday on the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Web site, Murtha says Obama has a problem with the race issue in western Pennsylvania that could shave 4 points off his lead in the state.

Kansas City Northland Couple Warns of Obama Credit Card Fraud
By hawk7 Wed Oct 15, 2008 01:22 PM
A North Kansas City couple has been left scratching their heads after they became the victims of a political scam.
Steve and Rachel Larman say a strange credit card charge appeared on their statement this month -- a $2300 donation to Barack Obama's presidential campaign. The Larman's say they don't want this to be about their political affiliation, but they say they're not about to give the Obama campaign any help from their pocketbook.
They said they notified Chase, their credit card bank, to report the fraud.
"(They) said that they had seen-they were familiar with this," said Steve Larman. "It was fraud, they believe through telemarketing but they were going to be doing some more investigations."
Seems like ''teleprompter head'' is getting ''mom and pop'' donations afterall.

Liquidating the Empire
By RockoftheMarne Wed Oct 15, 2008 11:10 AM
Uncle Sam's VISA card is about to be stamped "Canceled."
The budget is going to have to go under the knife. But what gets cut?
Social Security and Medicare are surely exempt. Seniors have already taken a huge hit in their 401(k)s. And as the Democrats are crafting another $150 billion stimulus package for the working poor and middle class, Medicaid and food stamps are untouchable. Interest on the debt cannot be cut. It is going up. Will a Democratic Congress slash unemployment benefits, welfare, education, student loans, veterans benefits——in a recession?
No way. Yet, that is almost the entire U.S. budget—except for defense, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and foreign aid. And this is where the axe will eventually fall.
It is the American Empire that is going to be liquidated.

SOWELL: The real Obama: Part IV
By PissNVinegar Wed Oct 15, 2008 04:38 AM
Barack Obama's supporters often try to sidestep questions about his character and judgment by saying that we should stick to what they arbitrarily define as "the real issues."
But Mr. Obama's record on specific issues is as bad as his record of repeatedly allying himself over the years with people who make no attempt to hide their hatred of America.
Among the so-called "real issues" are earmarks for senators' pet projects, like the "bridge to nowhere." These are among the most indefensible parts of the inbred Washington political culture, which Mr. Obama has so often claimed to be against, as part of his promise of "change" to "clean up the mess in Washington."
Yet Mr. Obama not only voted in favor of the bridge to nowhere, he voted against anti-earmark amendments proposed by Sen. John McCain.

Sowell: 'Going Negative'
By PissNVinegar Wed Oct 15, 2008 04:00 AM
One of the oldest phenomena of American elections — criticism of one’s opponent — has in recent times been stigmatized by much of the media as “negative advertising.”
Is this because the criticism has gotten more vicious or more personal? You might think so, if you were totally ignorant of history, as so many of the graduates of even our elite universities are.
[So what's negative about exposing someone who presents himself as someone he is not and telling the truth to all for once? That, in my book, is pretty positive, because it takes courage in these PC, muddle-headed, ignorant, oblivious times.]

Sickness Unto Debt (Dr. Paul Brilliance Alert)
By RockoftheMarne Tue Oct 14, 2008 08:16 PM
One of the burning questions regarding the recently passed bailout, and the one that almost no one has bothered to answer, is how the government intends to pay for it. Governments have three main methods by which they can raise funds: taxation, printing new money, and debt. As our $10 trillion national debt shows, the federal government has always enjoyed raising money by issuing new debt. Money is gained upfront, while the cost of repaying that debt is pushed onto future generations.
This method is especially favored today, since imposing $700 billion worth of taxes would lead to widespread public dissatisfaction. When the cost of all the recent bailouts plus the cost of all the new lending facilities the Federal Reserve has initiated are added together, we quickly reach a figure in the trillions of dollars. Even with the debt ceiling being raised to $11.3 trillion, the issuance of debt alone cannot begin to cover the cost of all the bailouts in which the government is engaged. Every indication is that the government will use both debt and inflation in its attempt to keep the economy running at full speed.
Debt financing has begun in earnest, as the national debt has increased $600 billion over the past three weeks, and most of that increase came even before the $700 billion bailout bill was passed. I fully expect that trend to continue in the near future and would not be surprised if we see another debt-limit increase slipped into another economic stimulus package that might be passed before the new year. Now that our foreign creditors are less willing to purchase our debt, what debt we cannot sell to foreigners will be monetized through the Federal Reserve, resulting in increased inflation.

Detroitnomics 101. The Obama Tax Plan: Certain Disaster for America
By hawk7 Tue Oct 14, 2008 06:02 PM
14 OCTOBER 2008: As with most economic theories that originate from within a Marxist ideology, Barack Obama's tax plan, (a/k/a Obamanomics, i.e. Socialism) would bring swift and certain economic ruin to the United States of America.
Contrary to the Obama tax plan, the acceptance of which requires that one must abandon his or her common sense, Obama hides the truth in a mish-mash of terms he can ill-afford to clearly elucidate, terms he intentionally uses interchangably to confuse the American taxpayer: tax cuts versus tax relief. Obama's tax relief is blatant Marxism, also known as "wealth redistribution." Obama's tax cuts are actually a soaking of the American well-to-do, the folks who grease our economic well-being and foot the bill for those on the lower end of the economic order.

Obama Hints at Communist Presidency
By hawk7 Tue Oct 14, 2008 05:57 PM
In 1848, the founder of Communism—Karl Marx—wrote in his infamous Manifest of the Communist Party about the “crying inequalities in the distribution of wealth.” Then, in 1867, in what has been referred to as his masterpiece, the first volume of Das Kapital was published. In this anti-capitalism work, Marx continues his extolling of Communism and advises that wealth must be redistributed from the ‘rich-and-evil wealthy’ to the ‘poor-and-downtrodden’.
In 1875, Marx continued with his theme with his treatise Critique of the Gotha Program, in which he expounds upon and summarizes the principles of a Communist system. It is from this work that Marx wrote of the distribution of society’s wealth: “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his need.” With this, he advises the reader that those who are the most able should and must produce more than those who are not as able. However, under Marx’s Communism all will be able to take equal amounts from the community trough—regardless of their contributions. Suffice it to say, those who are actually productive are not big advocates of Communism. Side Note: Black Liberation Theology—as taught by Barack Obama’s over 20-year mentor Jeremiah Wright—has its roots in Marxist philosophy.
Communism has never worked in any country in which it has been tried. In practice, Communism—the ultimate goal of liberalism—affords everything to and for the power elite and little to nothing for everyone else. It also does away with the concept of meritocracy—unless of course one is a member of the aforementioned power elite.

ACORN registers Mickey Mouse to vote
By hawk7 Tue Oct 14, 2008 04:54 PM
Mickey Mouse tried to register to vote in Florida this summer.
Orange County elections officials rejected his application, which was stamped with the logo of the nonprofit group ACORN.
Tow truck driver Newton Bell did register to vote in Orange County this summer. In the hands of ACORN, his paperwork went through without a hitch.
Two cases, two outcomes, each with a connection to ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.
Nationwide, ACORN is a favorite GOP target for allegations of voter registration fraud this year.
That's not new. Similar complaints followed the 2004 elections. A criminal investigation in Florida found no evidence of fraud. ACORN even has a cameo role in the scandal over the 2006 firings of several U.S. attorneys by the Bush Justice Department.

Baby killing Dykes: Hillary Clinton for Supreme Court
By hawk7 Tue Oct 14, 2008 04:49 PM
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's most loyal supporters here say they have a new reason to back the man who dashed her presidential hopes: They want Sen. Barack Obama to appoint her to the U.S. Supreme Court if he wins the White House.
"I would have liked to see her win, but I'm not wistful," said Grace Block, 77. "We'd love to see her on the Supreme Court if he would ask her."
Voters attending Mrs. Clinton's homecoming rally, a campaign event for her one-time rival, said they will now back Mr. Obama, and most of them, unprompted, told The Washington Times they want him to choose their former first lady for the high court.
"Having her on the Supreme Court would help us a lot. She could make sure we cement Roe v. Wade," said Judi Woods, a Little Rock supporter who campaigned for Mrs. Clinton across the country during the prolonged primary.
The last time Mrs. Clinton was in Little Rock in January, before the Super Tuesday primaries, she was lauded by locals as the woman who would remember Arkansas when - not if - she reached the White House.

Jack$on: If Obonga elected "Zionists will lose clout"
By hawk7 Tue Oct 14, 2008 04:43 PM
PREPARE for a new America: That's the message that the Rev. Jesse Jackson conveyed to participants in the first World Policy Forum, held at this French lakeside resort last week.
He promised "fundamental changes" in US foreign policy - saying America must "heal wounds" it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the "arrogance of the Bush administration."
The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.
Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.
Obanga has a better foreign policy. Like propping every middle eastern and African shit hole.
Will the Brooklinites take heed and wake the fuck up? No. Why? Because..........hehehe you know why. Morons! Blacks are not your natural allies.

Here's Another Example of Indoctrinating Children in the Art of Obama-Worship
By PissNVinegar Tue Oct 14, 2008 03:51 PM
A mother in Racine, Wis., is shocked when her 8th-grade son brings home an English literature textbook that devotes 15 pages to Obama's "Life of Service" but nothing on John McCain. Taxpayers have already paid for the book, published by McDougal Littel, but the question is why should Obama be put on a pedestal, is that really educating children or indoctrinating them, and is it even remotely ethically correct to do so. Another question is, what has the Marxist friend of terrorists and anti-American radicals ever done to deserve inclusion in a middle school textbook? Possibly, the publisher has a tie with the Osama campaign.
