Chavez says he plans to start a program next year that will give away cars running on less-polluting natural gas to people who turn in old cars that consume "too much gasoline."

The socialist leader says he'll even throw in a year of free fuel - though that's a relatively minor bonus in oil-rich Venezuela, where gasoline goes for 12 cents a gallon (3 cents a liter).

Saturday's offer didn't say what sort of cars will be offered or how many will be given out.

Ven crude, bunker C, is roofing tar...has to be heated up
to be usable in ship's diesels.

Light crude often only has to be filtered
to be usable in a diesel truck or for jet fuel.

What pisses me off is he pays 00.12 cents a gallon for fuel, and we are paying $4.00 fucking dollars a gallon for the same shit except Ours is better refined..

Yep, nobody cares in Venezuela to save gas, it cost ya 2 dollar to fill your tank, 95 octanes, which is the premiun one in there. The regular one is 91.

Gasoline is cheaper than water. A stupid subside that cost the job of the last president before Chavez when he decided to stop that subside and liberate the price. (That's when Chavez attempted his failed coup and came to the public eye as the savior of the universe who was gonna stop the evil Mr. President to raise gas prices)

But, that 2 dollars per gallon subside of gas goes to people with nice cars, and people who own cars in generals... poor people usually never have owned a car. So that makes you think about how much Chavez really cares about the poor, and how stupid are the majority of the people there who doesn't want the gas prices to go up.

The refinement is pretty much the same than here LMAO, Venezuelan oil is heavy crude and cannot be used without refinement.

Now, everything else it's very expensive.

Looking at LMAO post and feather's post it makes sence ChimpBoy would want to convert all the cars to natural gas. Just think of the money he would save.
