He told me to basically shut up, that the military will not come over to our side and that they are bound by oath to obey the President. He says the military basically will obey their paymasters and put down a rebellion, ruthlessly if they have to. He says probably about 1/3 of the military supports Obonga. I dispute that figure, but I was basically shouted down over there at the Belmont Club (Richard Fernandez' blog at pajamasmedia.com)and told not to bring up the possibility of civil war anymore.
